This will include a soccer match, provided there more than 15 players joining.

This include accommodations, flight 2 ways, transfer and daily breakfast and all taxes-( maybe be slight increase later we try to absorb)
The closing date is on the 15 October 2008, by then part/full payment must be paid.As I said priority will be given to those make part/full payment. I know few members like to withdraw last minute,Now make it simple, you pay you fly with us.
We need to make advance payment to the airline and hotel to confirm our booking. If you have make your mind pl call me and make reservation before the dateline to avoid disappointment.
Talk to all your kakis and kakas to join this 5 MMMM trip fast.

UKRC Report
EVENTS REPORT
Most of you had read about UKRC 9 ‘s International Veteran Soccer Tournament by our FRAS coach Mr Lutfi. I would name this players as “DIRTY DOZEN”. Not say they played was dirty but showed enthusiasm and emotion. I wish not elaborate further on the topic as much had been said about them.
However there were few who equally played a important role, Mr Rosli Omar assistant Coach from the side line, Mr Nasir Kamsir , stand in physio to do the ‘ rub rub’ on the injured players .Made sure that they battle on despite injuries. Mr Ravi who was left out of the team because of work commitment, arrived late just to give a support to the team members. They too were enthused.
UKRC 9’S VETERAN SOCCER
Please read Mr Lutfi reports.
This was not mention in the report, which I like to give pat on Mr Lutfi’s back for making a very wise decision. In spite of six players injured, there was some persuasion from the team to fill 3 under 40 players just to replace them, as what other team were doing. The coach stood firm as not to let the Association name to be tarnished, said he will battle on what ever players he have, but not to fill in under 40 players. MC wishes to salute him. Well done.
FRIENDLY SOCCER MATCH- DISAPPOINTED
We should have cancelled this match. Reason been from 12 players registered for the match six of them withdrew from the trip at the eleventh hour. As we had promised our members if they don’t play in the tournament at least get a chance to play the friendly match with Beluga FC.
On arrival at the venue, the FRAS players saw no wash room, pitch twice as big as the size of Farrer Park field. Half of the opponents were youngsters. We only had five players.
The match had to go on. This how we did it, four players from the UKRC volunteered to make up.Did you ever heard FRAS had a lady player previously, one lady stood in the team that day. Can find out who the lady was . Mr Khairudin two sons also joined to play.
Mr Hanizam changed in full gear and was so eager to play, changed his mind not to play. At the final whistle FRAS lost 5 -1 to the opponents.
DINNER HOSTED BY UKRC
Later in the night most of our FRAS MC attended a sumptuous dinner held at the Club.
CONCLUSION
Once again the Events Managers and the FRAS MC would like to thanks the DIRTY DOZEN for superb show of sportsmanship and so much enthusiasm in this tournament, even though they did not win trophy but won many Asean Friends. Wish more better players would come forward to participate in regional tournaments .I will strongly recommend and participate for such tournaments.
Also thanks the WAGs and the supporters, their presence also gave their boast to the teams.
RECOMMENDATIONS
In future if we have similar situation like this we will cancel the friendly match as not to over tax the tournament players. Members pulling out at last moment, is not healthy. Imagine what would had happen if there was a serious injuries. Members have to think very carefully whether am I really committed in any thing I do. As what the DIRTY DOZEN just did it.

UKRC 9-a-sde Tournament
ULU KLANG INTERNATIONAL 9 A SIDE TOURNAMENT (ANALYSIS).
On 30th Aug to 31st Aug, FRAS was invited to participate in the above tournament which we gradually accepted.
We arrived at the UKRC at 8.30am and was warmly welcome. The hot weather did bother us initially until we realised how hot after we played the second game.
Our members were eveready to compete not knowing that it was going to be a hard day on the field. We were group with an Indonesian team and two M'sian state teams .Our first game with KURNIA KWARTA FC of Indonesia was perhaps a well balance match however we lost by 2-0. Next game was with MELODI JAYA FC of Johore which we hang ourselves 5-0! The last group game against MALACCA FC was played in a downpour which we narrowly lost again by 1-0.
On Sunday we were involved in the Plate Competition where the 3th & 4th teams competed. It was another hard day but we ensure that the target of not losing was the aim of the day. We managed to draw with PENANG SC 1-1 with a bit of luck we could have won. Our last game was with KOREA KL FC, a first for FRAS playing with a Korean opposition. Score 1-1. We finshed second in the group and missed out on the Plate Finals. At the end of the day, I was pleased as we were unbeaten on the day.
On the whole I would like to heartiestly thank the players from the bottom of my heart who were involved in the tournament. These players made me proud because I DID NOT FORCE THEM and yet most of them are playing even though they are carrying various injuries.Their PERSEVERANCE and COMMITTMENTS, I salute to them. I also would like to thank the FRAS committee for having faith in me to lead this team. Our stint in Bangkok has made us become stronger when we compete overseas and we now know what to expect in such high level veterans game. Not forgetting the supporters who have come along with us, many thanks to them also. These players are:
DHARMALINGAM,
MEGAT
AZMAN,
JUMAAT,
ROGER HO,
KHAIRUDDIN
NIRWAN,
ABDUL MANAP,
ABDUL SAMAD,
ALI KHAN,
ADLY ESMADI

WHAT A SHAME!!
I am particularly disturbed by one of the referee who not only abuses his authority as a Referee, his atrocious behaviour on the field had tarnished the good image of the Singapore Football Referees Fraternity.
Though many of his decisions made were in question from the start of the whistle till he abandon the game..... I shall not comment on his refeering decisions. As a referee, he not only lost full control of the game... he also lost full control of himself which was a shame!! He was seen as arguing ferociously, screeming aloud and challenging my players to meet outside after the game in full view of all the players, two other teams (with their families) waiting for their next match.
At one stage, he was swearing.... shouted on top of his voice: " YOU SHUT UP!!!!" to one of my player, provoking me to question his integrity as a referee and reminded him that he should behave himself..... and that he should never/not be seen on the field confronting with players.. He brushed me off, still on top of his voice: " YOU DON'T TALK COCK!!!", making matter worse.... He even went to the extend of challenging a few of my players, including me to wait for him outside!!!!
This is my first such ugly encounter as a player with a referee. We, the paying customers do not deserve this kind of bad services and treatment from him!!!!!
If he is indeed FAS Qualified, than I am sure he should know the Referees' Code of Conduct!!!!

FOUND GUILTY BUT HE IS HE STILL IN "BUSINESS"??
He was guilty....but I was denied the answers from the particular authority!!
We have thoroughly investigated the matter and have found that the referee is indeed guilty of misconduct. We believe that his behavior that day was unacceptable and uncalled for.
Having said that, we would like to assure you that we had taken necessary action against this particular referee.
However for security reasons, we will not be releasing his name to you. Should you still wish to pursue the matter, you may contact the person in charge of the referee.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Thanks and best regards,
Finally I got a call from the person in charge of the referee and was satisfied with the decision made on that particular referee who deserved to be severely punished! Got an email reply and a call from the staff of the authority too and the case was closed.
