NO SHOW - New Flu hit FRAS

Give taught for yourself :

We always value your contributions to our Association and was very impressed by your general efficiency, as some members showed at the recent concluded trip to Pasir Gudang.

1. However, I recently had a cause to look over some disappointment,relating,3 of our members"NO SHOW" after their confirmation for joining the trip. It's nothing new it had happen before. It's like H1N1 flu.

2. I don't need to remind you it's your responsibility to keep your appointed date. You will not understand how unpleasant it will be if we arrive with fewer the 8 players at the venue.

3. Please ensure if members are unable turn up on the appointed date or withdraw to personnal reasons, so be it. It's alright just inform the head of delegation or any committee members.Communication on mobilephone is the shortest distant between two person. Other alternatives or back up can be arranged.

4. I am sure that you all appreciate these problems and that you will do your best to resolve them, especially at soccer match be it local or overseas.

Feed back are welcome to comment how we can improve in this area.

Batam Family Trip

Hi members

Its our first family cum football outing for the year 2009. Despite the recent flu scare, total of 23 members including families brave the storm and went to Batam on 09-10july 09. Its a very enjoyable trip and we had lots of fun.

We had 13 players for the game. We had a friendly game with the Macdermot veteran team (MU).We were unlucky not to have taken an early lead despite having all the possession of the ball, but 1 mistake was all it takes. They took the lead 1-0 for the half time. Looks like Roger needs a new partner up front as our very ah oo keep losing the ball be it on the ground or above despite of having hair. We did manage to equalise 1-1 but 3 mistakes from our versertile player (no 10) could not clear the ball properly that is why in the end we lost 4-1. Don't be flattered by the score if not for the mistakes. We could at least hold a draw. Memento was given to team Macdermot by our captain marvel Abdul.

After the game, we headed back to hotel and the whole contingent went for seafood dinner at Golden Prawn which took us about 1 hour to get there (traffic jam la), but still we had a good dinner.

Time to say goodbye, but wait shopping time for all. I guess all had a good time shopping and the husbands pocket could have burnt a big hole.

Here i would like to say a BIG THANK YOU. to all members who have participated in this trip.

Looking forward for our next trip to casinos.

1st Friendly Game '09

Hi Guys,

You all must be wondering what group is this 3 M. ( Merajok- Macham -Menang).

This was a friendly match played at Nanyang Poly Sports Complex on the 3 April 2009 @ 7 pm.Opponent where NYP staff. 28 FRAS members gather at the complex. 22 players changed and the rest just came to warm up the track.

First half, started very impressive, within 5 minutes FRAS scored first. This did not last until the opponent managed to equalise within 10 minute.Almost 40 minutes FRAS were in control of the match aimlessly. The last 5 minute of the first half opponent scored their second goal. FRAS were down 1-2. Half time whistle blown. Merajok started- lah.

Second half, FRAS changed all the 10 players except for the goalie. Opponent too did likewise players, fast and furiuos.

When FRAS got the equaliser, 2 - 2. FRAS -macham -world cup style- of play began. This time play with thinking, passing, crossing and shooting, running with accuracy. Hammered the opponents 6 -2 at full time. To every one surprise FRAS never played friendly matches with so much enthusiasm, dediction, unselfishness these players had in these match. As if they were playing their last match to qualify for the last berth in the World Cup. Even our goalie became man of the match, save three one to one situations. After his outburst during halftime.

At the final whistle, every players, spectators gave a standing ovation and applauses to the opponents. Not forgeting the FRAS players shook hands all round with each other because of the Menang feeling.

The names have been omitted as to protect members from being merajok lagi. But you know yourself, just did it for FRAS.

Well done guys. This is good start for the new management 2009. This will be talk for 2 weeks.

In conclusion, kept the winning feeling in control, hope more members will come and support the team.

Thanks once again.
